Greater Middlesex - White recap November 5, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in Greater Middlesex - White this week, St. Joseph beat New Brunswick 40-13. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Falcons.
St. Joseph took down the Zebras 40-13 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Cory Baccarella was the best running back in the league this week. In 13 carries, he ran for 93 yards as Carteret topped Colonia. Merricks also contributed to the rushing game with 89 yards on the ground.
6-foot-4 quarterback Kyle Moroney of South Plainfield is the league leader in passing yards this season with 943. He has also thrown 9 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Brandon Gilder. The Carteret star has 16 catches for 357 yards.
The Ramblers are in third place, while Kennedy Memorial is in fifth place.
Carteret made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,985 from 7,585. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 34-14 victory over the Patriots last week.
