After a string of five wins, South Fork's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 6-3 to St. Albans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to South Fork of the 9-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2019.

South Fork saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matt Dennis, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

South Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for St. Albans, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

South Fork will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Port St. Lucie at 7:00 p.m. South Fork is facing Port St. Lucie at the right time seeing as Port St. Lucie is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for St. Albans, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 6-3 win against Okeechobee on the 22nd.
