Recap: Catholic vs. Conway
There's no place like home for the Conway Wampus Cats, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. They managed a 65-60 win over the Catholic Rockets. Since Conway won the last time these teams met, too, this is only more fuel for the fire driving Catholic's future revenge.
The Wampus Cats started the contest off right with 36 first-half points. Catholic countered with 20 points. Conway was outperformed in the second half 40-29 but had enough points saved up to walk away with the win.
Conway's victory brought them up to 18-7. Catholic's overall record fell to 9-16.
Conway will take on Bryant Friday. Conway will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. The Rockets are on the road again Friday and play against Central. Catholic is the clear underdog, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one.
