Volleyball Recap: Pewaukee Falls Short Against Ranked Oconomowoc

Pewaukee faced Oconomowoc in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Pirates fell 2-0 to the Raccoons. The defeat continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Raccoons: they've now lost seven in a row.

Kennedy Tisdale paced Pewaukee's offense, picking up five kills. Tisdale got some help from Hannah Padilla and her five assists.

Oconomowoc can attribute much of their success to Jayce Keller, who had nine digs and two aces.

Pewaukee's loss dropped their record down to 19-9. As for Oconomowoc, their victory bumped their record up to 28-2.

Pewaukee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Waukesha North on the 30th. As for Oconomowoc, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Kettle Moraine on the 30th.
