1. Marian (Bloomfield Hills)
2013-14 record: 25-2, Class A champion
Coach: Mary Cicerone

Marian breezed to a 44-26 victory in the Class A title game to win its fifth state title and first since 1998. High-profile recruit sisters Bailey (5-8, Jr.) and Samatha Thomas (5-11, So.) return to lead the Mustangs' quest to repeat.

2. Haslett
2013-14 record: 23-2, Class A regional finalist
Coach: Bob Currier

The Vikings lost in the regional final to Grand Ledge, but Currier's squad should take a huge step forward in 2014-15 thanks to the return of two all-state players: senior forward Makenna Ott and junior power forward Karson Tripp.

3. Goodrich
2013-14 record: 22-3, Class B regional finalist
Coach: Jason Gray

Powers Catholic got its revenge on Goodrich for the 2013 championship game, but the Martians will be ready to return to glory in 2014-15. Class B Player of the Year Tania Davis (5-5, PG) returns for her senior year after averaging 19.1 points, 4.1 assists and 3.2 steals per game as a junior. Teaming up with her will be fellow all-state selection Isabella O'Brien, who averaged 9.7 points and 9.9 rebounds per game last season.

4. Bullock Creek (Midland)
2013-14 record: 24-2, Class B semifinalist
Coach: Justin Freeland

Could this finally be the year for Bullock Creek to break through? The Lancers lost in the Class B semifinals for the second consecutive year, but with the return of all-state performers Halee Nieman and Ellie Juengel in 2014-15, Freeland's squad could be poised for greatness.

5. Reese
2013-14 record: 20-2, Class C regional semifinalist
Coach: Denny Gruber

In an otherwise unblemished 2013-14 season, the thorn in Gruber and Reese's side was Nouvel Catholic Central, which handed the team both its losses. This season, however, all-state senior Reyna Frost and company won't go down as easily.
