Volleyball Recap: Seymour Wins Going Away Against Koshkonong

Seymour won the last time they faced Koshkonong and things went their way on Thursday too. The Tigers blew past the Blue Jays 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-17, 25-11.

Seymour's offense was headlined by Brylee Schmedeke and Laikan Newman, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Paisha Sturdefant and her 14 assists. Newman also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Chloe Johnson, each putting up three.

Seymour's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Koshkonong, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Seymour didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Gainesville on the 3rd. Hopefully Koshkonong paid attention to the Tigers' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
