While Glenn's win against Knox wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Falcons narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Redskins 3-2. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Redskins on Friday, too.

Brendin Hodges spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on nine hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kaden Lang, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.

The win made it two in a row for Glenn and bumps their season record up to 5-8. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Knox, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-6.

Coming up, Glenn will head out on the road to square off against Boone Grove at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Falcons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolves have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season. As for Knox, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tippecanoe Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
