It's playoff time, and Franklin Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets on Tuesday as they made off with a 6-3 victory. Considering Franklin Academy have won 19 matches by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Roanoke Rapids from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Audrey Probasco led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Franklin Academy's win was their 15th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-0. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up six goals over those 15 games. As for Roanoke Rapids, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 21-2.

Looking ahead, Franklin Academy will face off against Pine Lake Prep at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Pine Lake Prep will roll in looking for their 20th straight win, something Franklin Academy surely won't give up without a fight. Roanoke Rapids does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
