Basketball Game Preview: Washington County Commanders vs. Larue County Hawks

Washington County hasn't had much luck against Larue County recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Washington County Commanders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Larue County Hawks at 7:30 p.m. Washington County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Washington County is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They walked away with a 71-63 victory over John Hardin on Monday.

Meanwhile, Larue County entered their tilt with Glasgow on Friday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. They breezed past the Scotties to the tune of 80-40. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 45th, while the Scotties are ranked 200th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Washington County's win bumped their record up to 10-15. As for Larue County, their victory bumped their record up to 18-8.
