Basketball Recap: Foley Takes Down Ranked Daphne

On Tuesday, Foley faced Daphne in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Foley Lions secured a 54-50 W over the Daphne Trojans. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Kamorya Johnson and Abagail Johnson certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Kamorya went 6 for 11 on her way to 16 points along with seven boards and four steals, while Abagail almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds. Abagail has been hot for a while, having also posted three or more steals the last 13 times she's played.
