Softball Recap: Pensacola Takes a Loss

Pensacola lost against Central back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Pensacola came up short against Central, falling 18-1. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Pensacola saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alexiah Federico, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Pensacola's record now sits at 2-10. As for Central, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pensacola will face off against Choctawhatchee at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central, they will venture away from home to face off against Jay at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Jay will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Central surely won't give up without a fight.
