Basketball Game Preview: Gatesville Hornets vs. Greenwood Rangers

The Gatesville Hornets and the Greenwood Rangers will round out the year against one another at at 1:20 p.m. on Thursday.

Gatesville is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Waco just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 54-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions.

Meanwhile, Greenwood had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They snuck past Snyder with a 45-40 win on Tuesday.

Greenwood's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Gatesville, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.

Gatesville ended up a good deal behind Greenwood in their previous meeting back in December of 2018, losing 63-49. Can Gatesville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
