Baseball Game Preview: Trinity Christian Warriors vs. Flagstaff Christian

For the second straight game, Trinity Christian will face off against Flagstaff Christian. Trinity Christian is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on Flagstaff Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Flagstaff Christian will be up against a hot Trinity Christian team: the squad just extended their winning streak to ten. Trinity Christian's pitcher stepped up to hand Flagstaff Christian a 12-0 shutout on Tuesday.

Connor Wallace made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Wallace was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Trinity Christian's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.6 runs over those games. As for Flagstaff Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Everything went Trinity Christian's way against Flagstaff Christian when the teams last played on Tuesday, as Trinity Christian made off with a 12-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Trinity Christian since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
