Baseball Recap: Orono Takes a Loss

Orono was the 11-2 winner over Bucksport when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Riots took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Bucks on Wednesday. The Riots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Orono saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jason Curley, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Orono's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Bucksport, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Orono will challenge rival Central at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bucksport is set to square off against their familiar foe Dexter at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
