Bruton hasn't had much luck against New Kent recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Bruton Panthers will welcome the New Kent Trojans at 6:00 p.m.

Bruton is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Grafton and fell 66-33. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-14.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask New Kent). They were the clear victor by a 64-40 margin over York on Wednesday.

New Kent's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Bruton, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Things could have been worse for Bruton, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 57-41 loss to New Kent in their previous meeting back in December of 2024.
