Softball Recap: Aurora Central Catholic Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Aurora Central Catholic can now relate to. They fell 6-3 to the Marengo Indians on Friday.

Aurora Central Catholic saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abby Gambro, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Aurora Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 23-10. As for Marengo, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Aurora Central Catholic nor Marengo have any future games scheduled.
