Flag Football Recap: Mountain View's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Mountain View's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Flowing Wells Caballeros a 9-0 shutout. The win was some much needed relief for the Mountain Lions as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Mountain View's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-5. As for Flowing Wells, they dropped their record down to 3-5 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Mountain View will welcome Vista Grande at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Flowing Wells, they are taking a road trip to challenge Rio Rico at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
