Basketball Recap: Raleigh Charter Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Raleigh Charter). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 58-55 win over the Triangle Math & Science Tigers on Thursday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Phoenix considering their 27-point performance the match before.

Raleigh Charter's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-5. As for Triangle Math & Science, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Raleigh Charter will be taking part in a tournament against North Johnston at 7:30 p.m. on December 26th. As for Triangle Math & Science, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on River Mill at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
