Baseball Recap: Ogden Comes Up Short

Ogden fell victim to Union and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 7-0 to the Cougars. The Tigers have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Ogden saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Easton Green, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Ogden's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Union, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5.

Coming up, Ogden will welcome Roy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Royals have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.08 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Union, they will head out to challenge Canyon View at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
