Football Recap: Josh Durant Key Part of Team Effort in Titans Win + How To Watch

Sheehan won the last time they faced Amity Regional and things went their way on Friday too. The Titans blew past the Spartans 35-13. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sheehan to victory, but perhaps none more so than Josh Durant, who rushed for 115 yards and three scores. The Titans also got a significant boost from Jake O'Brien, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 92 yards.

Another reason for the win was Sheehan's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece. Another thorn in Amity Regional's side was Mason Baehr, who picked up a sack and made ten total tackles.

Despite the loss, Amity Regional still got an impressive performance from Cristian Luciano, who rushed for 125 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Luciano is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 125 every time he's taken the field this season.

Sheehan's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Amity Regional, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Sheehan wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 28-14 win against Xavier on the 10th. As for Amity Regional, they have also already played their next matchup, a 48-6 victory against Harding on the 10th.
