Basketball Game Preview: Ridgedale Rockets vs. Temple Christian Pioneers

The Ridgedale Rockets will venture away from home to take on the Temple Christian Pioneers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ridgedale will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Ridgedale is headed into the match after thoroughly thrashing Liberty Christian Academy: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Ridgedale blew Liberty Christian Academy out of the water with a 67-32 final score. That 35 point margin sets a new team best for the Rockets this season.

Meanwhile, Temple Christian entered their tilt with Calvary Christian on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 53-46 win over the Spartans.

Ridgedale's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for Temple Christian, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.

Ridgedale came out on top in a nail-biter against Temple Christian in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, sneaking past 48-46. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ridgedale since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
