Baseball Game Preview: Bradford Prep Bears vs. Pine Lake Prep Pride

Bradford Prep is 0-10 against Pine Lake Prep since March of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Bears will host the Pride at 3:30 p.m.

Bradford Prep is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 12th straight game dating back to last season on Wednesday. They came up short against Community School of Davidson, falling 10-2.

Bradford Prep saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mike Agnello, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Pine Lake Prep entered their tilt with Mountain Island Charter on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Raptors by a score of 6-2.

Riley Thomas tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits (and only one walk). Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Pine Lake Prep let Grant Ingram and Kelton Osborne run wild. Ingram went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI, while Osborne scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. Those two stolen bases gave Osborne a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Brandt, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Pine Lake Prep's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Bradford Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.
