After losing to Sequoyah the last time they met, Locust Grove decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Pirates walked away with a 3-1 win over the Indians on Monday.

Locust Grove's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Sequoyah, they now also have a losing record of 1-2.

Locust Grove has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Sequoyah on the 19th. As for the Indians, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Tahlequah at 4:00 p.m. on October 7.
