Jacksonville is 7-1 against Wellborn since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Jacksonville will welcome Wellborn at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Jacksonville came into their game last Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against St. Clair County, falling 10-4.

Jacksonville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dailyn Wood, who went 1-for-4 with one home run. That home run was Wood's first of the season. Jaylen Huntley was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Wellborn faced off against Weaver on Thursday. Wellborn lost 16-7 to Weaver. The Panthers have struggled against the Bearcats recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Jacksonville's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Wellborn, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.

Everything went Jacksonville's way against Wellborn when the teams last played on March 6th, as Jacksonville made off with a 13-2 victory. Will Jacksonville repeat their success, or does Wellborn has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
