Basketball Recap: Eldorado Comes Up Short

Eldorado was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They fell 62-49 to the Murphysboro Red Devils.

Eldorado's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Murphysboro, their victory bumped their record up to 8-18.

Eldorado and Murphysboro could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. Eldorado (ranked 595th) will meet Fairfield (ranked 296th) at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Similarly, Murphysboro will face off against Harrisburg at 6:00 p.m. on Monday down 435 places (575 vs. 140).
