Baseball Recap: Covenant Christian Comes Up Short

Covenant Christian was the 9-5 winner over Western Michigan Christian when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Chargers fell 7-2 to the Warriors on Monday. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Covenant Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Zandstra, who went 3-for-4 with one run.

Covenant Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Western Michigan Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Western Michigan Christian beat Covenant Christian by a score of 10-0 later that day.
