Basketball Recap: Brandon Rabish's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Penn Cambria over Greater Johnstown

Penn Cambria suffered their biggest defeat since December 28, 2024 on Wednesday. They came up short against the Greater Johnstown Trojans, falling 73-48. The Panthers have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Penn Cambria's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brandon Rabish, who went 5 for 11 on his way to 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Gibbons, who posted nine points.

Penn Cambria's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-8. As for Greater Johnstown, the win keeps them at an undefeated 16-0.

Greater Johnstown knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matchups -- so hopefully Tyrone likes a good challenge.
