It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Palm Harbor University ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They skirted past the Clearwater Tornadoes 11-10. The Hurricanes haven't had any issues with the Tornadoes recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Blye Monfred looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in walks (zero).
