Volleyball Recap: Chapman Comes Up Short

Chapman was the 2-1 winner over Marysville when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Irish fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday.

Chapman started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-19, 25-21.

Chapman's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Marysville, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 4-10.

Coming up, Chapman will face off against Republic County on Saturday. The Irish are facing the Buffaloes at the right time seeing as the Buffaloes are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Marysville, they will head out to challenge Abilene on Tuesday.
