Couch dropped down to 25-11-1 on Friday, ending the team's six-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Summersville Wildcats by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat on October 2nd.

As for Summersville, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-13. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since September 27th.

Lanie Greear was nothing short of spectacular: she had 22 kills, five digs, five aces, and two blocks. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September.

Couch does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Summersville, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Winona on the 27th.
