Prospect came out on top against Pioneer on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fourth inning. The Panthers were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Mustangs. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by six runs or more this season.
Kendall Tabora made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.
In other batting news, Dani Rauscher was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with six stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI. She continues to improve, besting her previous run total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Isa Shields, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base.
Prospect hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in five consecutive games.
Prospect has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Pioneer, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-12.
