Basketball Recap: Highland Tech Rams vs. Stuart W. Cramer Storm
After flying high against West Lincoln on Thursday, Highland Tech came back down to earth. The Rams fell 64-58 to the Stuart W. Cramer Storm on Friday. The Rams were not able to make up for their loss to the Storm from their previous meeting back in December of 2019.
Kingston Womack produced another solid performance shooting 73% from the field en route to 23 points along with seven assists and six steals for Stuart W. Cramer. Those seven assists gave Womack a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Makhi Brown, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 12 points and six boards.
Highland Tech dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Stuart W. Cramer, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
Highland Tech will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Burns at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2026. Stuart W. Cramer and South Point will round out the year against one another at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th. The Storm will be up against the Red Raiders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 67.88 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
