Baseball Game Preview: Tullahoma Wildcats vs. Soddy Daisy Trojans

For the second straight game, Tullahoma will face off against Soddy Daisy. The Wildcats will be playing at home against the Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Tullahoma 2.6, Soddy Daisy 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Soddy Daisy will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Tullahoma extended their winning streak to four on Thursday. The Wildcats' pitchers stepped up to hand the Trojans a 5-0 shutout. The Wildcats' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three contests.

Tullahoma got a great performance from Grayson Waller as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Andrew Fulmer was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

This is the second loss in a row for Soddy Daisy and nudges their season record down to 23-15-2. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Tullahoma, their win bumped their record up to 30-10.
