The Hanover Central Wildcats will venture away from home to challenge the Kouts Mustangs & Fillies at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hanover Central is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.4 runs per game this season.

Hanover Central had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least ten runs, but Lake Central put an end to it on Monday. The Wildcats fell 4-1 to the Indians. The contest marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Jillian Deyoung spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on four hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Hanover Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooklyn Oostman, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 13 runs the game before, Kouts was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They lost 7-0 to South Central. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Kouts now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Hanover Central, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-8.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Hanover Central hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 1.3 home runs per game. However, it's not like Kouts struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.5 home runs.
