South Fayette is 8-2 against Trinity since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The South Fayette Lions will challenge the Trinity Hillers at 7:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for South Fayette and seven for Trinity.

On Friday, South Fayette was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 52-47 to Peters Township.

Meanwhile, Trinity came up short against Peters Township on Tuesday and fell 67-54. While losing is never fun, the Hillers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 415th, while the Indians are ranked 81st).

South Fayette's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-7. As for Trinity, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.

South Fayette strolled past Trinity in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 51-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for South Fayette since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
