Volleyball Recap: Thomas Nelson Takes a Loss

After flying high against Green County on Monday, Thomas Nelson came back down to earth. The Generals lost 3-0 to the Marion County Knights on Thursday. The Generals have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-19, 25-15.

Thomas Nelson's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Marion County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thomas Nelson will square off against Bardstown at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Generals their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Marion County, they will take on Nelson County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
