Soccer Game Preview: Lincoln Charter vs. Christ the King + Official Tickets

The Lincoln Charter Eagles will challenge the Christ the King Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Christ the King took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Lincoln Charter, who comes in off a win.

On Monday, Lincoln Charter narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Bradford Prep 3-2.

Meanwhile, Christ the King was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 6-1 to Community School of Davidson. While losing is never fun, Christ the King can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 325th, while Community School of Davidson are ranked 89th).

Lincoln Charter's win bumped their record up to 12-3-1. As for Christ the King, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.

Lincoln Charter took their victory against Christ the King when the teams last played on October 2nd by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Crusaders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
