The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Peekskill in their matchups with Walter Panas: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite the defeat, Peekskill saw an underclassman step up: Azarriyah Ashley scored 21 points. That was a full 72.4% of Peekskill's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Peekskill's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 6-8. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 29.7 points per game. As for Walter Panas, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-2.
