Cardinal Mooney not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since February 4th (when they won 100-5). They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Evangelical Christian Sentinels 72-30. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Sentinels: they've now won three in a row.

Cardinal Mooney's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Talia Busser, who went 7-for-10 from beyond the arc to rack up 22 points. Thanks to that strong game, Busser now owns an excellent 48.1% field goal percentage. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayla Griffin, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 11 boards.

Cardinal Mooney's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Evangelical Christian, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-3.
