Ridgeline dropped their record down to 8-11 on Friday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Gonzaga Prep Bullpups by a score of 4-3. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bullpups apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

As for Gonzaga Prep, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games.

For Gonzaga Prep's part, the team relied heavily on Anthony Karis, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Briggs Beaudoin was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

While Ridgeline had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
