It's playoff time, and Carey had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Patrick Henry Patriots by a score of 16-7 on Friday. This was payback for the Blue Devils, who suffered a 24-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Carey's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.0 points on average over those games. As for Patrick Henry, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-3.

Looking ahead, Carey will square off against Margaretta at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Polar Bears' defense has only allowed 9.5 points per game this season, so the Blue Devils' offense will have their work cut out for them. Patrick Henry does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
