Football Recap: Evergreen Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Evergreen had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a blow against Pe Ell/Willapa Valley, falling 41-8.

Blaine King had an outrageously good game for Pe Ell/Willapa Valley as he rushed for 95 yards and two scores. King was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 62 yards.

Coming up, Evergreen will take on Highline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pe Ell/Willapa Valley, they will host Blaine at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
