Football Recap: Kingstree Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Kingstree was feeling good fresh off their 34-14 takedown of Mullins last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Blazers took a 21-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Atlantic Collegiate Academy Armada on Friday. The Blazers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Armada apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Among those leading the charge was Semaj Wilson, who rushed for 96 yards and two scores on only 12 carries. Those 96 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Atlantic Collegiate Academy also got a significant boost from Quay Vereen, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 93 yards.

Kingstree has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Atlantic Collegiate Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.

Coming up, Kingstree will head out on the road to square off against Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles' defense has only allowed 11.7 points per game this season, so the Blazers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Atlantic Collegiate Academy, they will challenge Woodland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
