Merrimack Valley and Kennett are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2016, but likely not for long. The Pride will welcome the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Merrimack Valley is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Merrimack Valley's offense. They lost 9-0 to Pelham on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Kennett posted their closest victory since May 8, 2025 on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Laconia 5-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Jonah Pepin was excellent, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Korbin James, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Kennett's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Merrimack Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
