Basketball Recap: Albany Piles Up the Points Against Newcastle

Albany was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Newcastle on Thursday. The Albany Lions blew past the Newcastle Bobcats 74-25.

The victory got Albany back to even at 1-1. As for Newcastle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Richland Springs the next time they take the court. Newcastle will head out to face Richland Springs at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while Albany will head out to face them at 9:20 a.m. on Saturday.
