Baseball Recap: Teton Comes Up Short

Teton had lost five straight on the road, but on Saturday they dropped their record down to 2-16 to make it six. They fell just short of the South Fremont Cougars by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, with their most recent defeat being a 11-1 loss on Saturday.

As for South Fremont, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-12 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games.

For South Fremont's part, the team relied heavily on Tayson Farley, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Farley is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

As of now, neither Teton nor South Fremont have any future games scheduled.
