Bailey McNeal was the offensive standout of the matchup as she threw for 247 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 30 yards and one touchdown. Those 30 rushing yards gave her a new career-high. A healthy portion of McNeal's aerial production (106 yards to be exact) went to Leah Vanderveen, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Mission Viejo didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Emma Eldred, Nora Biornstad, Brooklyn Koedel, and Karlie Franzini picked up one apiece.

Despite a strong season so far, El Toro has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They fell 24-12 to Huntington Beach on Thursday. While the Chargers had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Oilers 12-6.

Mission Viejo now has a winning record of 14-13. As for El Toro, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-9.
