After losing to Winston Academy the last time they met, Leake Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Leake Academy Rebels won by a run and slipped past the Winston Academy Patriots 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rebels.

Leake Academy's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Tanner Walsworth, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Leake Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Winston Academy, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Leake Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Park Place Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on April 7th. As for Winston Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 6-2 victory against Benton Academy on the 21st.
