Volleyball Game Preview: Norwich Free Academy Wildcats vs. Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Jets

The Norwich Free Academy Wildcats will square off against the Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Jets at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Norwich Free Academy turned things around against Putnam on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Clippers.

The win didn't come easy: Putnam scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-21, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Academy of Aerospace and Engineering got the win against Capital Prep on Monday by a conclusive 3-0.

While Academy of Aerospace and Engineering won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 26-24, 25-18.

Academy of Aerospace and Engineering's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Norwich Free Academy, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.

Norwich Free Academy took their victory against Academy of Aerospace and Engineering in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Jets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
