Basketball Recap: Naperville Central Takes a Loss

Naperville Central lost against DeKalb back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Naperville Central Redhawks took a hard 59-45 fall against the DeKalb Barbs.

Naperville Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for DeKalb, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season.

Naperville Central will take on Lincoln-Way West in a tournament on Thursday. Lincoln-Way West knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Naperville Central likes a good challenge. DeKalb and Roosevelt will round out the year against one another at at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday. DeKalb is facing Roosevelt at the right time seeing as Roosevelt is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
